My opportunity is in travel so when I approached the prospects I made my pitch based on the travel benefits. Everyone loves travel. If I found someone in business already I offered to team up with them to generate sales for us both. For instance they could offer a vacation as a bonus for a prospect looking at their site or buying their product. This generated a ton of leads for me. In addition many saw my opportunity and then signed up with us.
